Life Connection Groups

Life Connection Groups...

...bring people together to do four things in community: pray, share, study and serve, all in the name of Christ. Community is an essential part of the discipleship journey. Connection with God and one another helps us to know and be known, to feel a sense of belonging in this huge place.

Why Should I Join a Life Connection Group?

We consider Life Connection Groups to be one of the most important ways to experience connection and community at SSCC. Through a Life Connection Group, you are able to learn the names behind the friendly faces you meet on Sunday and share in your spiritual journey with others-encouraging one another as you live, learn and grow together and with God. God doesn't want any of us to be left to walk alone-we need each other.

What does a Life Connection Group look like?

A Life Connection Group is made up of up to 20 people who meet regularly for 8-10 weeks (some groups are ongoing), often in homes, to share, study, pray and then apply God's Word through service. It is a group of people that are seeking to grow spiritually, individually and with encouragement and help from the group.

How do I enroll in a group?

There are three ways to enroll in a group:

  1. Register online on our website.
  2. Visit the Life Connection Group table in the lobby on Sunday mornings.
  3. Fill out a Connection Card on Sunday morning and leave it in the offering.

If there is a specific group or study you would like to see offered, please contact Judie Ritchie.
