Many Waters Mission

Contact: Marc Wernli

Website: www.manywatersmission.com

Description: Many Waters Mission ministers to the individuals, families, and communities of Navajo Indian Reservation in the San Juan River valley of New Mexico.  Since 1979 Many Waters Mission has provided food for the hungry, clothing, building materials, Bibles, and training in the Word of God.  There are only a few Christians, hungry for God's Word where Many Waters Mission ministers. Many people are adherents to the traditional religion and struggle with alcohol and drug addictions, broken families and great poverty. Most don't have water, electricity or other conveniences others take for granted. Many Waters Mission has a rescue mission that serves as home-base as they work with people in many different areas of this huge reservation.

Ministry Opportunities: Pray/Give/Go. Please contact Marc if you would like to know specifically how you can get involved in serving with this regional ministry. Many Waters Mission has parntered with youth groups and church work teams that answer the call for "laborers in the harvest", building churches and repairing buildings and doing VBS, open air services, and whatever is needed in the huge mission field of the American Indians. Some send gifts for needy families for Christmas and others spend time in prayer for the many needs.
