Senior's Ministry
For the believer, growing older is a spiritual journey in which
faith, love, and hope abide. The 50+ Adult Ministry of South
Suburban Christian Church is committed to encouraging and affirming
continued growth in wisdom and in faith, while also making
available opportunities for fellowship and service to the
congregation and to the community, and to providing loving support
and assistance during times of need and change in the lives of our
older adults and their families.

Brown Bag Bible Bunch
There is currently a 50+ Adult Bible Study Group that meets from

50+ Adults Lunch and Movie Matinee Day
This is a big favorite at SSCC and it's generally held on the
last Friday of each month. Volunteer hostesses / hosts,
provide a simple but tasty lunch which is followed by a good movie
and fresh popped popcorn, candy bars and soda pop. There's a
minimal charge for the afternoon.
AARP Driver Safety Classes
Hosted quarterly for the community as well as SSCC members.
Contact Sharon
Matthew for information regarding the above classes and other
scheduled social activities and special events. We're always open
to suggestions which will help us better meet the wants and needs
of our Senior Adults at South Suburban Christian Church, and the
community.
