MISSIONS APPROVED AND SUPPORTED MONTHLY BY SSCC
Aenon International “Many Waters” Mission
Contact: Marc Wernli
Website: Many Waters Mission
Description: Many Waters Mission ministers to the individuals, families, and communities of Navajo Indian Reservation in the San Juan River valley of New Mexico. Since 1979 Many Waters Mission has provided food for the hungry, clothing, building materials, Bibles, and training in the Word of God. There are only a few Christians, hungry for God’s Word where Many Waters Mission ministers. Many people are adherents to the traditional religion and struggle with alcohol and drug addictions, broken families and great poverty. Most don’t have water, electricity or other conveniences others take for granted. Many Waters Mission has a rescue mission that serves as home-base as they work with people in many different areas of this huge reservation.
Ministry Opportunities: Pray/Give/Go. Please contact Marc if you would like to know specifically how you can get involved in serving with this regional ministry. Many Waters Mission has parntered with youth groups and church work teams that answer the call for “laborers in the harvest”, building churches and repairing buildings and doing VBS, open air services, and whatever is needed in the huge mission field of the American Indians. Some send gifts for needy families for Christmas and others spend time in prayer for the many needs.

Description: Campus Crusade for Christ International’s (CCCI) purpose is to help fulfill the Great Commission in the power of the Holy Spirit by winning people to faith in Jesus Christ, building them in their faith and sending them to win and build others; and helping the Body of Christ do evangelism and discipleship. CCCI is has an international ministry presence in 191 countries. They are headquartered in Orlando, Florida where Scott and Mary now serve. This year they are participating in a special program of leadership development and service at the CCCI headquarters. They are putting their experience gained over 20 years in Europe to serve the worldwide movement of CCCI. They participate in leadership development opportunities designed to maximize their gifts as well as filling roles that are similar to their work in Europe. Scott serves as a Regional Specialist for CCCI’s 80 American staff serving in Western Europe. His goal is to help them “survive and thrive” in the midst of culture very resistant to the gospel as well as representing their needs to the leadership in Orlando. Mary’s job is to assist the Chief of Staff for the President of CCCI. Mary is helping with communication to leaders around the world.
